What are cookies
Cookies (translated into English: Cookies) are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored before being retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. The cookies of the so-called "third parties" are, instead, set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because on each site there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.
Types of cookies
There are so-called "technical" or even "functionality" cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the pages of the site. Without these technical cookies, some features of the site may be compromised so access to content may also be limited. They allow, for example, to keep track of some data entered in the forms to be filled in, of the pages visited by a user or by a site administrator.
Technical cookies also include those that are used to understand if users are new or returning, how they use the site, how they move between pages, how long they stay on the pages and on the site, from which geographical area they arrived on the site. The data does not identify the user as a person but is aggregated anonymously by the analysis tools. In all cases, the above technical cookies are absolutely harmless because they do not collect any personal information of the user.
Profiling or advertising cookies (this site does NOT use this type of cookies)
These are cookies used to track the user's browsing on the net and create profiles on his tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies, advertising messages can be transmitted to the user's terminal in line with the preferences already expressed by the same user in online navigation on various websites.
What kind of cookies does this site use
This site uses only technical cookies to improve navigation and to have detailed statistics on the visits that are made by users. There are also some links to Google Maps, Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus, so when you connect to these services or websites, cookies from the respective services / websites may be recalled.
